Skills and Techniques

This is mainly a reference page, as abilities are usually strictly for a race or two, and signature moves are only known by that person and must be taught to your character in the story in order to get them. Be sure to list any skills that your race starts with on your skills section of your character sheet..

Skills And Abilities

Absorption Japanese Name: Kyuushyuu Type: Fusion Used By: Majins, Bio-Androids

Absorption - This attack allows one person to absorb another. Bio Androids do this through their tail, and Majins through their gooey body make-up. Once absorbed the powers of the one being absorbed is usually gained. Majins and Bio-Androids start with this Skill.

Change Beam Japanese Name: Henka Beam Color: White Type: Other Used by: Majin

Change Beam - This attack allows Majins to change anything he wants into chocolate. Majins have this as a starter skill.

Cube Fade Japanese Name: Bunkai Teleportation Other Names: Break Up Teleport, Instantaneous Movement Type: Other Used by: Demon

Cube Fade - With this technique, Demons can instantly go anywhere by turning his own body into many cubes, then which changes the dimension instead of time. Demons can teach this to other beings as well. Demons have this as a starter skill.

Energy Absorption Type: Other Used by: Energy Absorption Androids

Energy Absorption - Energy Absorbing Androids have the ability to absorb energy with their hands. Either by contact with the target they wish to absorb from, or with an energy blast. The blast can not be stronger than the androids' powerlevel, or it cannot be absorbed. Energy Absorption Androids have this as a starter Skill.

Flying Japanese Name: Bukujutsu Type: Other Used by: Any fighter, most humans don't start with this

Flying - This is the ability to fly using one's Ki. The user simply controls their energy and pushes out from underneath them allowing them to fly. Everyone starts with this skill; humans must specify in their Bio Androids and Winged Creatures have the next one instead.

Flying Japanese Name: Hikou Type: Other Used by: Winged Creatures & Androids

Flying - This is the ability to fly using wings. Or in the case of the Androids, without Ki. As the android have no Ki of their own, they are unable to use Bukujujitsu. Androids and Winged creatures start with this skill.

Healing Wave Japanese Name: Kaifuku Color: Differs Type: Other Used by: Namekians, and Majins

Healing - The ability to completely heal anyone who has been injured. They do this by placing their hands over the injured person and in a few seconds they are healed. Majins and Namekians have this as a starter skill.

Regeneration Japanese Name: Sai Sei Type: Regeneration Used by: Namekians, Majins, and Bio-Androids

Regeneration - This enables the user to regenerate any part of their body. Bio-Androids can use it if there is just one cell of his body alive and all Majins needs is a single dust particle. Namekians, Majins, and Bio-Androids have this as a starter Skill.

Self Destruction Japanese Name: Jibaku Color: Differs Type: Other Used by: Certain beings, Androids, Bio-Androids

Self Destruction - This is a powerful self destruction technique. Androids and Bio-Androids use an internal bomb, while other beings use Ki. Androids and Bio-androids have this as a starter skill, unless otherwise stated by the creator.

Phasing - Allows a user to move quickly from one spot to another with little to no effort. The user moves so quickly, they appear as if they teleported, however, it's only very quick movement. Starter skill for all beings.

No Image Available	Powerlevel Sensory Type: Other Used by: Androids and Humans

Powerlevel Sensory - The ability to sense where the location of a person's ki signature is. Androids don't don't have a ki signature and thus can't be sensed, however, they can sense the exact power level of a target, like they have a built in scouter. Other beings can learn this by practice and concentration. Starter Skill for Humans, Androids, Bio-Androids, and Majins.

Conceal Powerlevel - The ability to lower your powerlevel to such a level that you appear insignificant, or like you're not even there. Androids don't have a ki signature and thus can never be sensed, and always have this activated. Other beings can learn this by practice and concentration. Starter Skill for Humans, Androids, Bio-Androids, and Majins.

Kiko Type: Ki Blast Used by: All beings besides Androids

Kiko - An energy wave technique formed through the spiritual energy of a living being.  It is the most basic form of energy wave. Its power is usually determined by the amount of energy put into it. Only living beings, such as non-androids, are able to do this. Starter Skill for All beings besides Androids.

Energy Blast Type: Energy Blast Used by: Androids

Energy Blast - An energy wave technique formed through the energy of a machine. This blast is only able to be used by androids. Starter Skill for Androids.

Techniques

After Image Technique Japanese Name: Zanzoken Color: A Blur Type: Other Used by: All of the Major Fighters

After Image Technique - In this attack the user moves so fast, they leave an image of themselves behind. Thus, it looks like the user is in several places at once, or has made copies of himself/herself.

Energy Barrier Other Names: Chi/Ki Barrier Color: Differs Type: Defense Used by: Any fighter, but mainly Androids

Energy Barrier - With this technique, the user can create a shield around themselves which can withstand many attacks as long as the person has enough Ki to supply.

Energy Sword Japanese Name: Energy Shyutou Color: Magenta Type: Melee Used by: Any fighter.

Energy Sword - Character does this attack by creating an energy shaped sword around his hand.

Fusion Dance Japanese Name: Harahotaku Other Names: Fusion Color: Yellow Type: Other Used by: Metamaries

Fusion Dance - Created by the Metamaries, whom are only found in Heaven. Can only be performed by two users. The users fuse into one being, which only lasts 30mins (3 posts in game)

Instant Transmission Japanese Name: Shunkan Idou Type: Other Used by: Yardratians

Instant Transmission - One of the series' most useful techniques. This allows the user to dematerialize and move as a mass of light. The only downside to the technique is that the user requires a Ki target to "lock onto". Can learn this technique from the people Yardrat.

Instantaneous Movement Japanese Name: Kai Kai Other Names: Teleportation Type: Other Used by: Kaioshins

Instantaneous Movement - This is the ability to get any where in the universe instantly.  But unlike Instant Transmission, this does not require the user to lock onto a Ki target. They can go anywhere regardless of if there is a Ki target there. Kaioshins have this as a starter skill.

Kaioken Japanese Name: Kaioken Other Names: Fist of the Worlds Color: Red Type: Power Up Used by: King Kai

Kaioken - This is taught in the afterlife by King Kai. It is a power up technique that allows the user to amplify their Ki by how ever much they desire. The user should not be able to go past two times Kaioken, but after training under 100x Earth's gravity the user could increase it to 20x. The number denotes by how much the user's power level is times (except for regular Kaioken which is 2x). E.G.: Pl = 5,000 + Kaiokenx10 = 50,000. Androids can never learn how to use this move, as they have no ki.

Kamehameha Other Names: Turtle Destruction Wave Type: Energy Beam Used by: Master Roshi, and Goku

Kamehameha - This is taught by Master Roshi on Roshi's Island, or by Goku at his house. The attack is charged with cupped hands behind the back, then brought to the front with the arms outstretched, and fired.

Mouth Blast Japanese Name: Kochi Kara Kikou Ha Color: Differs Used by: Many Alien beings

Mouth Blast - This is the ability to shoot a Ki blast from your mouth. It can be a very surprising attack, and one which is usually very powerful.

Multi Form Japanese Name: Shi Shin no Ken Other Names: 12 Eyes Color: N/A Type: Other Used by: Tien

Multi Form - Can be taught by Tien.This is a technique where the user splits into four separate entities. Hence 12 Eyes, as Tien has 3 eyes. The four entities can fight on their own and can be attacked separately. But the downside is that the user's PL is divided into four, with each copy receiving 1/4 of the original's power level.

Solar Flare Japanese Name: Tayoken Other Names: Solar Fist Color: A Blinding White Type: Other  Used by: Goku, Krillin, and Tien

Solar Flare - This attack is one of the most useful in the series. The user puts the hands up to the face and shouts "TAYOKEN" or "SOLAR FLARE", this causes the sun's rays to be amplified and reflected into the opponent's eyes, thus blinding them. This has been used many times with success.

Spirit Bomb Japanese Name: Genki Dama Color: Blue Type: Energy Beam Used by: King Kai

Spirit Bomb - This attack is by King Kai in the afterlife. It allows the user to borrow energy from all the things around him. The energy is gathered by the user raising their arms upwards, this however does leave them open to attack as the strength of the attack is proportional to the time it takes to charge.

Most techniques are either unique to a race, or must be learned from someone. If you wish to learn an ability, you must go to the original user of the technique and learn it.
